Basic Searches for Social Economy Assets in BC

Basic searches allow you to find assets of a particular type, in a specific region or regions, or in a given municipality or municipalities. You can search the directory by:

  • Asset Type  To find assets that support, enhance, and catalyze BC’s social economy activity.
  • Role in the Social Economy  To find assets based on how their activities impact the social economy.
  • Type of Support Resource  To find resources that assist in financing, funding, in kind support, etc.
  • Type of Information-Based Resource  To find information-based resources such as networks, newsletters, conferences, research, etc.
  • Skills and Experience  To find individuals with skills and experience to assist/consult with on your social economy activities.
  • Organization Type  To find organizations (based on what kind they are) that are catalysts or champions in the social economy.
  • Focus of Activity  To find assets based on the community, economical, environmental or social issues they are focused on addressing.
  • Scope  To find assets based on the breadth of their impact, from rural to urban, regional to provincial, etc.
  • Region  To find assets based on the area(s) in BC where they are active. (Click here for more information on the location of each region.)

With detailed searches, you can search for combinations of requirements to pinpoint the asset you are seeking.
