The Canadian Cancer Society isn’t just for older people. You’re never too young to be a leader in the cancer cause. Just ask the youth from Mission Possible!

The Mission Possible high school program empowers young people to take an active role in promoting cancer prevention. We are working in partnership with school districts and teachers to bring Mission Possible to life. This peer-led program enables students to become volunteers in their community and gain valuable leadership skills.

Mission Possible youth volunteers get many benefits, including:

  • Education. They help promote a worthwhile cause, gain knowledge of cancer and develop strong organizational and public speaking skills
  • Work experience. Students can earn official Career Planning hours
  • Job references. They’ll receive reference letters and foster new contacts in their community
  • Recognition. Mission Possible volunteers are leaders in the Canadian Cancer Society
