Volunteers are the lifeblood of the Canadian Cancer Society. With more than 17,000 volunteers in the BC and Yukon alone, we truly believe there’s strength in numbers.

Whether you have been affected by cancer or you are simply looking to get involved in your community, we’d love to hear from you. CCS volunteers come from all walks of life and all ages, so there's something for everyone.

We cherish diversity and invite people of all backgrounds to get involved with the cancer cause. While most of our positions require a one-year commitment, we also offer some short-term, project-based opportunities including canvassing for our April campaigns, selling daffodils or getting involved in our relays. No matter what you choose, you’ll make new friends, learn valuable skills and provide vital support to people living with cancer.
